Membrane filtration
Membrane filtration is gaining more and more popularity in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries as the most efficient technology for separating the smallest particles.
The principle of operation of membrane filtration
In membrane filtration, the flow of the filtered medium is directed parallel to the filter surface, and the flow penetrating through the membrane (permeate) moves perpendicular to the filter surface. This is the so-called cross-flow filtration or tangential filtration, due to which they do not clog, as happens in a conventional filter. Membrane filtration equipment fulfills the most stringent requirements regarding equipment for the food industry.
Depending on the degree of filtration, four main stages are distinguished:
Reverse osmosis RO
Nanofiltration NF
UF ultrafiltration
Microfiltration MF

Manufacture, installation and inspection are carried out in highly specialized factories, and experienced staff guarantees installation, acceptance of work and training of the client’s employees.
We are an independent supplier. This allows us to select diaphragms, pumps, valves and other components that best meet the wishes and needs of the client.
Membrane filtration plants are often an integral part of large production lines, in which both equipment and solutions from the field of automation must necessarily function together as a single, inseparable whole.
Equipment design
The principle of operation of membrane filtration
The design of equipment that best suits a given purpose depends on many factors. Such as: type of product, its quality, elasticity, cost of operation, environmental impact, etc. It is in this area. In cooperation with the client, we analyze the current needs regarding processing, evaluate possible alternatives and select the best combinations on the one hand, and on the other hand, we determine the type of membranes, their location along with process parameters such as: pressure, temperature, flow rate, washing procedure, etc.
We use components (diaphragms, pumps, valves, etc.) of recognized European and world brands.
